Siren Song

A Winter’s Kiss

A snowy winter’s morn

The sky a pearlescent grey

They walked hand in hand

Through the packed snow

The crunching of their footsteps

Echoing in the woods

The crisp air was making her cheeks

Delightfully pink

He couldn’t help but reach out

To touch them

Stroke them with his fingertips

Before pulling her to him

Hands on her cheeks

He kissed her

His breath warm on her face

Her fingers made their way under his coat

To touch his warm flesh

To bring him closer

As the kiss progressed

Their bodies melted into each other

Time was suspended

They were in their own world

A breathless winter kiss

I created this blog as a way to express myself using my poetry and photography. It is a reflection of who I am and of the things that interest me. I have many muses…perhaps the greatest one being my love of the sea, how I gravitate to anything relating to water, how I feel a pull toward it deep in my bones. At times I will be revisiting content that I have shared on Twitter which has, until now, been the forum I have expressed myself in. That said, the content will change over time as the blog grows and develops. It is my hope that the reader will enjoy the journey.
