He rushed in to consume her

Furious and beautiful
Relentless in its quest.
They are drawn to each other
As the sea is to the shore.
Kindred spirits
Stirred by
The smells and sounds of the ocean
Inspired
Comforted
Invigorated
By the crash of the waves
The briny tang in the air
And the gentle lapping of the water
Upon the sand.
She yearns constantly for the sea
Drawn to its power and beauty.
It’s in her blood
And just like the sea
He is too.
