Do you ever wonder about the footprints we leave in others’ lives?
The difference that one person can make
Whereas another barely registers…
Some footprints are so subtle and faint
That we wonder if they were ever there at all
A fleeting effect on our world
Yet other footprints are bold and deep
Full of purpose and intent
Prints felt and perhaps seen for years
Their impact indelible
As even years later we remember
A distant memory returning to us
Sometimes good
Sometimes bad
But always a part of us
