Siren Song

Into the night

The night is silent

the time when my thoughts are free to unfurl

to run loose with whatever my heart fancies.

The night holds secrets

and memories.

It is a conduit to fantasies.

I go into the night naked

my thoughts bare

aching for his touch

as I allow sleep to take me.

Slipping into dreams

the dark of night settling over me

like velvet

caressing my senses

allowing me to feel alive

in a way that I cannot during the day.

I give free rein to my desires

as my imagination paints glorious pictures

depictions of what I have only been able to envision experiencing.

Living out the most delicious, erotic escapades

I can conjure up

with him

my magic man.

I go into the night

knowing exactly what I will find.

I find him

and I find myself.

I created this blog as a way to express myself using my poetry and photography. It is a reflection of who I am and of the things that interest me. I have many muses…perhaps the greatest one being my love of the sea, how I gravitate to anything relating to water, how I feel a pull toward it deep in my bones. At times I will be revisiting content that I have shared on Twitter which has, until now, been the forum I have expressed myself in. That said, the content will change over time as the blog grows and develops. It is my hope that the reader will enjoy the journey.
