They were the days of fallen shadows

when cracks in the light

allowed the darkness to flow.

Those were the days I adored.

The freedom under your hand.

The possibility of it all

You

Me

Us.

Days filled with longing touches

and words

lush with desire.

Nights when dreams came alive

and fantasies bloomed and burned

witnessed only by the moon

and the tangle of sheets

around our limbs.

The subtle madness of stars

dipped in luminescence

seeming to dance and twinkle

within that blue velvet sky

just for us.

Defining a path

from you to me.

A beacon

across the miles

of land

and sea.
