When I first created this blog, back in Autumn of 2014, I had been writing poetry and prose for less than a year. It was by no means the first time I’d taken up pen and paper (or, as oft is the case, tapped out my thoughts on my trusty Mac) but it had been many years since I’d written anything other than what could be found in my journals.

Initially, Twitter was the platform I began with, finding my voice and footing before creating this blog. In the years since, while my writing has evolved I’ve expanded to other platforms to share my creative endeavors, such as my personal essays published on Medium. 

This blog continues to be a way for me to express myself using poetry, personal essays, and photography. It is a reflection of who I am and of the things that interest me. One such thing is the sea, a fervent muse of mine. I gravitate to anything that relates to water, the pull felt deep within my bones.
