Conservator

I look

not for a teacher

as we would learn together

but rather

a conservator. 

One who would remove my layers

slowly

painstakingly.

Studying every inch

as he progressed.

Taking pleasure in his work.

Finding 

the beauty

the truth

hidden beneath
